We Agility Marine finished a design for Guangzhou Junfan Shipping Engineering Co.Ltd for a inlet pipe and its support structure.
As per client’s requirement, the following design and verification are carried out:
- the outlet pressure decrease shall be more than 15% when compared with inlet pressure, while the piping shall have adequate strength to withstand the load caused by fluid. We introduced some structure eg. baffle plate inside to make this happen. An internal fluid calculation is made to verify the results.
- a structural strength calculation is carried out by Agility Marine and results shows the supporting structure have adequate strength to withstand the load cases defined by client.
- a overflow piping on portside and starboard side of the mud barge is designed also.
